The River Medway

Whilst taking a walk along the River Medway we came across some striking scenes. This is a place surrounded by some stunning landscape, stretching down through Kent and into Sussex, the River is home to the Historic Chatham Dockyards, often used by Hollywood as a film location, for example, the derelict Russian Submarine moored near Strood was used as a set in the 2014 film The Black Sea.

This amazing place, with its strange broken boats, sitting like the carcasses of ancient beasts, has also been the inspiration for many local artists.
